Cleeve Lodge staff bring with them a wealth of experience, with every new employee defined by their warmth, kindness, fun and energy.
Newcomers are asked to work a trial day so the home can gather feedback from staff and residents alike. Our carers are invaluable and as such, we seek to oversee a low staff turnover.
We pride ourselves on warm, friendly and approachable staff. We do not wear uniforms as we feel it creates a more relaxed and homely atmosphere.
Training and Qualifications
Every member of the team has an enhanced DBS check completed before they are given a start date.
They all receive extensive training, with refresher sessions available to all those already in situ.
The level of care provided is overseen by senior staff and management, while the in-house administrator, bookkeeper, maintenance and domestic staff ensure the home is maintained to the highest standard.
Our proprietors are Dr. Rex Woolf and Mrs Vanessa Woolf. Vanessa works in the care home as part of the care team on a daily basis. Penny Luckett is the Registered Manager and has been here for over 25 years.
All of our care staff build meaningful and trusting relationships with our residents. The care staff are required to complete the Care Certificate within 3 months of employment and all staff have relevant training. Some of our staff have gained Diplomas while all are trained in the Health and Social care.
We are always looking for friendly, enthusiastic and innovative people to join our team, please call or email us for further information.
